The Honey Pot
The Honey Pot is a wonderful café in Penzance that serves hearty, freshly prepared meals and homemade cakes. They have a strong focus on sustainability, with local produce at the heart of their seasonal changing menu. With their iconic glass shopfront, cosy interior and stand out food, The Honey Pot has become an institution in the town. The café is notoriously busy with both locals and visitors throughout the year.
Restaurant Photography in Cornwall & WordPress Website Development
After Rachel took over the café in 2017 she enlisted my help in building up the café’s online following, as well as promoting their evening events. Between 2020 and 2021 we worked together to create and develop The Honey Pot’s website and build an image bank with my restaurant photography services in Cornwall to use across her digital marketing.
What we did:
Together we created a catalogue of beautiful evergreen content for their social media, and with the help of local artist, Catherine Haines, fresh new branding and menus. I then workshopped with Rachel and her team to teach them effective social media strategies, so they could take social media in-house.
In November 2020 we launched The Honey Pot’s brand new website. The site balances modern design with the warm atmosphere The Honey Pot is known for. Featuring online reservations, shop and a dynamic on-page menu, the site is user-friendly and mobile responsive.
