The Honey Pot.
The Honey Pot is a beloved café in Penzance, known for serving hearty, freshly prepared meals and homemade cakes. With a strong focus on sustainability, they source local produce for their seasonally changing menu. The café’s iconic glass shopfront, cosy interior, and standout food have made it an institution in the town, attracting both locals and visitors year-round.
When Rachel took over The Honey Pot in 2017, she enlisted my help to build the café’s online following and promote their evening events. Between 2020 and 2021, we collaborated to create and develop The Honey Pot’s website and establish an image bank. These professional images have been utilised across all their digital marketing channels to enhance their online presence.

Together, we created a catalogue of beautiful, evergreen content for their social media. With the help of local artist Catherine Haines, we also introduced fresh new branding and menus that perfectly reflect The Honey Pot’s unique charm. To empower Rachel and her team, I conducted workshops to teach them effective social media strategies, enabling them to manage social media in-house confidently.
We then launched The Honey Pot’s brand new website, which balances modern design with the warm, inviting atmosphere the café is known for. The site features online reservations, an e-commerce shop, and a dynamic on-page menu, ensuring it is user-friendly and mobile responsive. This new digital presence has made it easier for customers to engage with the café and explore their offerings.
Currently, we are in the process of a website refresh to ensure The Honey Pot stays ahead of design trends and technology. I also provide ongoing monthly website management, handling updates and maintenance. Our continuous efforts have helped The Honey Pot maintain a strong online presence, attract new customers, and keep their loyal patrons engaged.
